The Indian community participation in Blink 2022 was very well received. Through
Nrityarpana, despite stiff competition, we have received some funding for Blink 2024! In
keeping with the Blink theme, “Let it Shine!”, we have four floats and several
performance groups to highlight our illustrious Indian culture.
Please join us in the Parade:

• Walk in colorful Indian attire (the weather may be cool, so additional inside layers

may help)

• Dance Bhangra, Bollywood or Garba; join workshop (QR code in attachment)

 Promote in your networks (all welcome!!!)
The actual Parade starts 8 pm on Thursday, Oct 17 th at Central Avenue and Mehring
Way. The Parade covers 7 blocks on Mehring Way till Old Broadway. Our performance
groups will be doing a 5-minute show around 8:50 PM on the second stage at Roebling
Point.

Many of us will be there much earlier to assemble the floats and set up. Please plan to
be there around 7 pm, so you can find your own parking and join us at the staging area
along Pete Rose Way (between Smith Street and Central Avenue).
We look forward to a strong, vibrant and shining Indian community presence at Blink
